For my "10 things you should know about graphic design" brief, I was recommended checking out this article by
Adrian Shaughnessy on the Design Observer website.
Shaughnessy had 30 minutes to describe what graphic design to a non-profession audience on the radio.
It's a fascinating article that has proved as really useful research, I recommend checking it out.
